Yes, We Are Still Alive...
I know it has been a while since we have updated this blog, so I figure it was time to do so again. We are still alive and doing very well. I think the last I posted I announced the name of the Bunny that we got a while ago, well we no longer have the bunny, but we do have a cat now. We gave the bunny to good home because he and the cat didn't get along very well. Her name is Zara and she is very pretty, loves to play with us and her toys, to sit on our window sills and hide underneath our bed. One of her favorite things to do (and mine) is to pounce on our feet or hands while move them underneath the covers of our bed. It's pretty funny to watch.
I think at the time of the last post I was unemployed with a few prospects for architectural work. Well, none of those prospects panned out, but I was able to find a job with a company called Synergy Installation Solutions. It a company that installs office furniture and I have been able to stay busy. It is a construction job and is pretty labor intensive. The good thing is that I have been able to lose 15 pounds since I started working. Its not quite what I wanted, but it will get us through until architects start hiring again. I also have applied to the University Of North Carolina at Charlotte to work towards obtaining my Master's Degree in Architecture. I haven't heard anything from them yet, but hopefully I will soon.
