My Parents Finally Came To Visit

Yep, thats right they finally came to visit after about 9 months of saying they will. This was their Second visit to North Carolina, and the first with us since we bought our house. It was a fun weekend even though we did a lot of furniture shopping and not much of anything else. That was the real reason they came out, to go furniture shopping. There are two cities in North Carolina that compete for the title of "Furniture Capitol of the U.S." they are High Point and Hickory. They went to High Point on Friday, and spent the entire day in Hickory with us. Even though it wore me out (as any kind of shopping will do) I had a good time. My parents didn't find a whole lot, but Andrea and I found a sofa that we want. It's a white leather sectional with a chaise lounge on the end. Maybe we will go back and buy it this weekend, but perhaps not.

This is the first blog of hopefully many. I'm not sure how often I will post on this but I will try to keep it up to date and let all who read this know what is going on in my life. Like anyone will want to read this out side of my family. This isn't just a blog about me but about my wife also.
